The Administrator Role provides access to Organization Settings, User Management, Accelerator configuration. By default the first user that logs into an organization is assigned as an Admin. Therefore, your organization's Salesforce Admin should be the first user at your organization to login.

โš ๏ธ Important Requirements

Ava requires a connection to your Salesforce organization. This connection provides Ava access to your call recording transcripts and the Opportunities you are associated with. Additionally, to get the most out of Ava, connection with your Google or Outlook calendar is required. Follow the instructions below to login to Ava and then connect your calendar. When you login for the first time, Ava walks you through configuration.

Salesforce

Your Salesforce organization must be configured to allow authentication with SFDC to Connected Apps, specifically Vivun Ava Prod Auth0. See this Salesforce documentation for more information.

โœจTip: You can send this quick video walk-through to your Salesforce Administrator for the steps they'll need to complete.

There are two ways to ensure Salesforce Connected App is installed and configured properly:

Option 1 - Salesforce Admin Signs In

Important: The Salesforce Admin logging in must have the Approve Uninstalled Connected Apps permission in Salesforce.

  1. Your Salesforce Admin logs into Ava and authorizes the connection.

  2. After successful login, navigate to Connected Apps OAuth Usage in Salesforce and select Install on the Vivun Ava Prod Auth0 connected app.

Option 2 - Key Stakeholder Signs In

This process requires your organization's Salesforce Admin and a Key Stakeholder for Ava.

  1. Your Salesforce Admin must assign the Approve Uninstalled Connected Apps system permission to the Key Stakeholder's user in Salesforce through a Salesforce Permission Set or Profile.

  2. Your Key Stakeholder logs into Ava and authorizes the connection.

  3. After successful login, your Salesforce Admin navigates to Connected Apps OAuth Usage in Salesforce > select Install on Connected App.

  4. Once complete, your Salesforce Admin removes the Approve Uninstalled Connected Apps permission from the Key Stakeholder.

Login to Ava

Be sure to login to your Salesforce organization prior to logging into Ava, as Ava uses a social login with Salesforce to authenticate your credentials.

As the first user logging into your organization, you must complete the T&Cs required to onboard and for other users to begin logging in.

You will also get access to the Training section; currently this process is tracked and handled by Vivun, but will be self-service in the future.

  1. Enter your work email address associated with your Salesforce account.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Enter your work email and password.

  4. Click Log In.

  5. Select an Account or Account(s) to create your Spaces.
โ€‹Note: If you are part of the Account or Opportunity Team in Salesforce, those Spaces will automatically populate; but you can add additional Spaces here.

  6. Click Add as Space.

  7. Click Connect next to your Call Recording provider and authenticate.

  8. Click Connect next to your Calendar provider and authenticate.

You are brought Home, where your Spaces will begin to populate if you are on the Account or Opportunity Team, and you can manually add additional Spaces.
